pjhavariotis Dec 17, 2015 7:25 AM (in response to taofengjboss)As far as I know, IBM has stopped delivering support for WebSphere MQ v6.0.x since October 2012.

taofengjboss Dec 17, 2015 10:16 AM (in response to pjhavariotis)Yes, you are absolutely right. IBM has stopped support for MQ 6.0 in 2012.
Our application is a huge financial web application belongs to a European bank. It is also a legacy system with more than 15 years history. MQ 6.0 is heavily used for commutation between our application and other applications. So we can't update it on our end.
What we want to do is configure JBoss EAP 6.4 that our application can still communicate with MQ 6.0. Is this possible for JBOSS EAP 6.4?

humourmind Dec 23, 2015 8:22 PM (in response to taofengjboss)We had done the integration between EAP 6.1 and MQ 6.0. It did work without any issues. Of course now we have upgraded to MQ 7.
So, I guess it should work.
Are you trying to set up a bridge between EAP and MQ? or how you plan to consume or put messages to MQ?

taofengjboss Dec 24, 2015 10:35 AM (in response to humourmind)Thanks for you reply! So it should work.
I am trying to set up a bridge between EAP and MQ. We use message driven bean (EJB2) to work with MQ. I checked EAP doc and found that EAP needs to set up MQ resource adapter (wmq.jmsra.rar). However we are using EJB 2. I am wondering the resource adapter is still a must have for us.
