Wildfly CPU requirements

Hi there,

I have a JEE application running Wildfly. It's a stock trading application so it deals a lot with integer and float calculations.

In particular, I am running simulations which I want to be as fast as possible on my dev machine.

So I am looking for a system configuration that allows fast executions of my algorithms.

How does Wildfly use the CPU? Is it better to get a CPU with as much cores as possible (e.g. a Intel Core i7-5820K) or is it more important to look for the clock speed of each CPU?

What are your experiences?

I would say this depends entirely on how you implement your simulations. WildFly isn't involved in this.
