Do I need EAP subscription to try JDV 6.2?

Hi,

Since JDV 6.2 require EAP 6.4.3 and the patch is only for Red Hat Customers, does it mean I have to buy Red Hat JBoss EAP Subscription to try JDV 6.2?

Is there a way to get the patch, maybe for the community version. Or is there Wildfly version that can be used for JDV 6.2?

You can download and use the JDV 6.2 from here JBoss Data Virtualization - Overview, if there are issues please let us know.

Community version is available at Teiid Homepage · Teiid, the 8.13 version is a Wildfly version.

Yes, I can download the JDV 6.2 from the link provided. But it need EAP 6.4.3 and can't be installed in EAP 6.4, or did I miss something?

I believe 6.4 upgrade is done as patch release, so that is only available for Red Hat customers. Patches are not available for community users, however all the patches are committed also upstream albeit may not be in the same version of Teiid as they do in JDV.
