EJBCLIENT000025: No EJB receiver available for handling

I have an application that I ported to wildfly some time ago and I used to get this error from our client application. This was fixed and the application has been running fine for a long time.

I now have deployed the application to the Amazon Cloud and the server sits behind a https ELB and after some configuration changes to get the http upgrade to forward onto the server all is working. The problem is after about 60 seconds of inactivity in the client any request made generates this error.

Any idea's what may be causing this ?

I'm guessing that the underlying connection is closed after the idle time and then (for some reason) the auto-reconnect from the EJB client to the server isn't happening. You'll have to enable TRACE level logs of the org.jboss.ejb.client package on the client side to get some hints and also provide more details about the versions of the server you are using.

Thanks for the response it turned out were had a cache of the home interface and tried to make a call on it. Once I removed that the system seems to work as expected
