No, JBoss 5.x is not certified to run with JDK 8.

If you want to run JBoss on JDK8 then you should upgrade to WildFly or  For the JBoss EAP6 the JDK 1.8 ** support only with 6.3.3 update and above.   See: https://access.redhat.com/articles/111663

The First release of WildFly was tested against JDK8 is WildFly 8.
