It seems that this is not possible right now, unless you treat the @Row array as a single String and call setLiteralValue on the MatrixMix object:
AnnotationSource matrixMix = getTarget().addAnnotation(MatrixMix.class); matrixMix.setLiteralValue("mix", "{ @Row({ 50, 50, 50, 50 ,50 })}");
Can you open a JIRA in Roaster - JBoss Issue Tracker ? I appreciate if you could also provide a test case, so it may be easier to reproduce and propose a fix.

Setting the array as a literal will do for now.
