The downloads are still accessible from SourceForge where they have always been : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=40712&package_id=127784 -

cholli2 Apr 17, 2009 9:39 PM (in response to richardmijo)I feel like I'm maybe speaking for more than a few people in wondering if someone at JBoss.org could be a bit more open/responsive as to the nature of the problem with the Hibernate.org site and when it could be expected to be available again. Something beyond the generic "down for maintenance" message now displayed.
Considering it's the primary resource of Hibernate-related information for a lot of people, I don't think that's really asking a lot, is it? -

cholli2 Apr 17, 2009 9:53 PM (in response to richardmijo)Also, the Internet Archive has snapshots of the Hibernate website including documentation. No downloads, but those are on Sourceforge.

There is no specific reason. There is no ball park estimate on completion/availability.
This is at least 1 full week non-stop. Very unprofessional. Have you ever heard of such a thing happening to another J2EE vendor? I have contacted Redhat customer service for an update.
No wonder the adoption rate for JBoss Seam is abysmally low... -

hubaer Apr 29, 2009 3:55 AM (in response to richardmijo)Hi andy,
(1) I need a forum that I can ask newbie questions...
I would try this forum hoping there are enough hibernate experts to help you.(2) how to get access on the ...
You can download the hibernate distribution from sourceforge (the link is on the hibernate.org page :-)). There is the source code included.

P. S.: There is also an issue in the hibernate JIRA about the "little" maintenance (http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-3881) -
