Back up of metrics configurations

Hello All,

We are monitoring about 52 nodes in our environment using JON (3.3) , by default many of the metrics are enabled by the tool(more than 500 metrics for each node) and I disabled it manually .

Now I should take back up of all my configurations, so that I could make use of metrics configuration in future and I don't want to disable it manually again

Please help on this.

A user with admin privileges can set up metric collection templates. Templates define which metrics should be collected and how often. Note that templates only apply to resources when they are added to inventory.

Thanks for the reply
I have defined metric collections for my environment already ,no problem on that area ,I am clear on it.What I want now is that I want to take copy of the templates I have created now (Since I have disabled more than 300 metrics for the node manually) for my future use.

AFAIK, you can't export metric collection templates. As a workaround, you could execute a CLI script with CRON to automate your metric collection schedule setup.

Okay Thomas , will try it from CLI scripts.

We have options called collection usage -max , peak usage - max , usage - max under the tab of memory pool resources .
Can you differentiate these three metrics?
