Timer intermediate event: Time Cycle, Time Cycle Language,Time Duration

Hi everybody,

I know this is probably a stupid question, but I could not find the answer anywhere.

What is the difference between Time Cycle, Time Cycle Language and Time Duration properties for the Timer intermediate event?

I also noticed that in the editor, all the other properties have a description label on hover; all of them but these three properties.

Timer Cycle - the actual time expression that shall be used - can be string (interval based 2m or 2m###5m - where first is the initial delay and the delay for repeated fires), string cron expression or can be process variables and in v6 it can be ISO-8601 date format

Timer Cycle Language - can be default interval or cron

Timer Duration - one time expiration timer - delay after which timer should fire, string interval, process variable and in v6 ISO-8601 date format for duration

What is the full grammar of default cycle language? How could be days, weeks, years expressed?

it can be ISO-8601 date format

As regards ISO-8601, is only the date supported? What about time? Durations, intervals, repeating intervals?
