The mail server that we use to relay mail to outside our organisation requires an X509 certificate supplied with the request.
Is it possible to do this with JBoss AS 7.1?
Our mail subsystem is set up similar to the documentation below and works for non authenticated, internal mail but the docs don't specify use of certs.

We've tried importing the cert to the keystore {JBOSS_HOME}/standalone/configuration/keystore/keystore.jks and CA chain to the truststore {JBOSS_HOME}/standalone/configuration/keystore/truststore.jks but either its been implemented incorrectly or its not possible to do.
Would anyone know if it is possible to do or whether we're implementing it incorrectly?
