5. Re: Can rich:Calendar support datepattern containing seconds
padraigbyrne Mar 28, 2008 8:11 AM (in response to padraigbyrne)With specified pattern I get "27-03-2008 12:00:ss" after I pick date
As you can see :ss from pattern is left. If I overwrite this with "27-03-2008 12:00:12" then seconds are set correctly & operation of system is ok
but I can't force user to change ":ss" manually each time if they dont want this fine a resolution.
Do you know how I can force to ":00" programatically on apply & then let them override if they require
I'm looking @ calendar.js
Not a js expert so can you provide any pointers to make modification to simply replace :ss with :00 & can I you see any way I could acheive this without customising calendar.js
I'm not worried about being able to set seconds via spinner, just defaulting to "00" -
6. Re: Can rich:Calendar support datepattern containing seconds
ilya_shaikovsky Apr 1, 2008 6:58 AM (in response to padraigbyrne)The answer of usage seconds within calendar is still No. Any client side action like choosing date, time, switching month, setting date to input will cut seconds. So feature request should be filled.

8. Re: Can rich:Calendar support datepattern containing seconds
den74 Jun 25, 2008 9:43 AM (in response to padraigbyrne)Hi,
i worked on the rich calendar of richfaces 3.2.1GA to let it manage the seconds. The file attacched let use additionally format "HH:mm:ss" and "hh:mm:ss a"
It is not perfect (it not preset the data selected yet) but it cover our necessity, and it could be a point to start the new version of component.
Hope it will be useful for others
Greetings

12. Re: Can rich:Calendar support datepattern containing seconds ?
ricardo.bento Apr 19, 2016 12:44 PM (in response to padraigbyrne)one solution without much work
usage:
https://grysz.com/2010/05/22/edit-seconds-with-richfaces-richcalendar/
to get the actual seconds :
onchanged
=
"this.value = this.value.replace('ss', new Date().getSeconds())"
