JBoss eap to Wildfly version mapping

      I've found this mapping:

      https://access.redhat.com/articles/112673#EAP_6

but it is a bit out of date, do you know something more actual with Wildfly 8-10 shown?

The document you linked is not out of date.  It is current.  At this point there is no EAP release based on Wildfly (although one should be coming relatively soon - EAP 7).

Server must support Java8 and Java7 as I would start with Java7 and would like to create new classes in Java8.

If just runtime is your concern than EAP 6.3.3 and newer support Java 8 as runtime.

But as Justin pointed out, first WildFly based version of EAP is EAP 7 that is based on WildFly 10.

Its GA is coming out quite soon, you can currently grab EAP7 beta or WildFly 10 if you want to start developing using it.

Or wait till GA is out to work on it.

But if you start developing on WildFly 10 and than move to EAP7 it would be mostly transparent change.
