jboss as 7.1.3 issue - deployment of .ear file issue

    gevans_mt

      Hi there,

Been trying to solve an issue in which I have a standalone.xml file that is configured to use postgre and when I deploy the .ear file from my development team and it works just fine even with the postgre server stopped/off. However, when they give me an updated standalone.xml that is supposed to use MSSQL Server, I get the errors attached in the jboss_server_deployment.log.

We are using jboss-as-7.1.3.Final and I cannot upgrade it at this time or I would.

I have attached the 2 standalone.xml files as well as follows.

      • standalone-mssql.xml
      • standalone-postgres-working.xml

I have replaced my company name in all of the files with <company_name> as I do not know if I am allowed to post files with my company name in them and I do not want to run afoul of any company rules.

I am not sure why it works under the postgre xml but not under the mssql xml, and I am at a loss as to where to go from here. I have asked our developers and others at my company that are more familiar with jboss than I am and they have told me that the mssql xml works on their machines (Windows). I am running this under CentOS 7, so maybe there is some problem I am unaware of there as well.

Any help, tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      Regards,

      Greg
