http response is getting to null immediately in camel route

Trying to access a http(on Jetty component) link which responds with an JSON.

The response reaches the client produces endpoint in a route. but goes null in the next step. no idea how this happens.

because of this I get an exception from JSON dataformat that the NO CONTENT DATA to process.

any idea? please help

Maybe the response is stream based and then you can only read it once, unless you turn on stream caching, or convert the body to a String type

Thanks a lot Claus Isben,

Infact I forgot to update this ticket as solved. I made a mistake by keeping a log before the unmarshalling of the response. As you mentioned this cuased the stream to go NULL and hence the problem.

Also, I have noticed that the Stream goes NULL if we enable the trace in the Hawtio console.
