I'm investigating the integration of a legacy app into JBoss. Unfortunately the legacy is non-java and can only talk raw data over sockets so I think i'll have to implement an MBean to allow the socket read/write operations. My question is can that MBean (or a facade session bean) be invoked from another bean client running in another vendors container such as weblogic or websphere? Has anyone had any experiance of interoperability between different vendors containers?
