3. Re: Building Wildfly results in error: wildfly-ts-integ-web
arthurborsboom Aug 12, 2016 9:59 AM (in response to arthurborsboom)While scrolling through the Stacktraces, I noticed some errors which made me guess Wildfly wants to actually run during the build.
Since I had Eclipse open with Wildfly running this might have given a conflict, due to port 8080 already being in use.
After completely closing Eclipse, the build gets one step further and now ends here.
[INFO] WildFly Test Suite: Integration - Web .............. SUCCESS [ 46.491 s]
[INFO] WildFly Test Suite: Integration - Smoke ............ FAILURE [ 15.295 s]
Maybe it has something to do with my MySQL instance running...

4. Re: Building Wildfly results in error: wildfly-ts-integ-web
ctomc Aug 12, 2016 10:01 AM (in response to arthurborsboom)it cold be, but if you just need to build it and not test it as well.
you can just do mvn clean install -DskipTests
so it wont run testsuite.

5. Re: Building Wildfly results in error: wildfly-ts-integ-web
jaikiran Aug 12, 2016 10:08 AM (in response to arthurborsboom)Like Tomaz noted, you can just build it by skipping the tests (since the upstream is anyway expected to be passing those tests and any failures are usually environment related). Of course, if you are actually building it to provide some fixes to the code, then you would need to run the tests to ensure nothing breaks with your changes. Otherwise I usually run:
mvn clean install -DskipTests=true

arthurborsboom Aug 12, 2016 10:12 AM (in response to arthurborsboom)Ah well, I just learned about Wildfly nightly builds.

I give up on building myself and wait 1 day.

7. Re: Building Wildfly results in error: wildfly-ts-integ-web
ctomc Aug 12, 2016 11:35 AM (in response to arthurborsboom)you can grab latest build from our new CI https://ci.wildfly.org/guestAuth/repository/download/WF_10x_Nightly/latest/wildfly-10.1.0.Final-SNAPSHOT.zip
but as this is still work in progress, link you posted still points to old CI system which is slow with updating nightly builds.
also note that those nightly builds are just for master, this one here is from 10.x branch.

8. Re: Building Wildfly results in error: wildfly-ts-integ-web
arthurborsboom Aug 13, 2016 2:45 PM (in response to ctomc)The provided link to the Widlfly 10.1 nightly build gives me a 404.
In fact, all the items here give me a 404 too: https://ci.wildfly.org/guestAuth/repository/download/WF_10x_Nightly
Am I using the wrong link?
