Email alerts upon exceptions in JBOSS server log file

Hi there,

We want to setup email alerts in JBOSS upon exception in the JBOSS server log file.

Is there any way of doing this in the new EAP 7.0?

Our environment is Windows Server 2008/2012.

JBoss server wont trigger any kind of alert on exception. You can use monitoring tool(ex. jboss operations network) for monitoring purpose.

just configure log4j email appender in logging subsystem.

be careful to properly "tune" it so it will only send you mail for error messages and up.

Otherwise you might way too much email
