from thread dump only thing I could say is that there are lots of threads IN_NATIVE code waiting for OS to do its work.
All related to networking, check what is going on with your networking on you machine where you are running WildFly.

krisztian.kocsis Oct 7, 2016 2:47 PM (in response to ctomc)The load was generated on the same machine, h2load -n 5000 -c 1000, maybe some TCP kernel settings need adjustment but I was able to produce h2 load -n 1000000 -c 20000 without any errors using Vert.X (Netty).
