1. Re: "JBAS010441: Failed to load module for driver [com.oracle]"
mayerw01 Nov 5, 2016 6:27 AM (in response to apham1075)This means that your JDBC driver for Oracle is not successfully installed. As long as you don't access the Oracle database this should not cause any problems.
But you should check if there is a directory $JBOSS_HOME/modules/system/layers/base/com/oracle/main/ which contains a driver file (like ojdbc6.jar) as well as a module.xml which points to this driver.
If you don't need Oracle access you may also decide to remove this driver via cli (/subsystem=datasources/jdbc-driver=oracle:remove)

apham1075 Nov 5, 2016 2:03 PM (in response to apham1075)Hi, Wolfgang. Appreciate your time responding, but I found the solution to my problem here:
java - jboss-eap-6.1 oracle driver definition when installed as deployment - Stack OverflowApology if I didn't clarify that I was installing the driver as a deployment, which I placed the ojdbc6.jar file in the "$JBOSS_HOME\standalone\deployments" directory. This is local setup on my machine for an enterprise application that I support. It’s a small application, but a good experience for me learning Java and code development.
