Error validating SQL statement

Hi Folks,

When I "preview data" at the "getTextFiles" procedure, using the SQL statement showed in screen1.png, it works well.

But, when I use the same statement with the "validation button" (screen2.jpg), it shows an error (screen3.jpg)

Notice, that when I click in the validate button, the ' char is changed with the " char in the SQL statement.

I have tried with many chars combinations : ', ", `, \', \"

Is it possibly a bug?

Yes this a bug in the designer logic that was carried over from the engine side.  The correction made with [TEIID-4367] Fail to deploy VDB with TextTable SELECTOR - JBoss Issue Tracker  need to made to the Designer code as well.  I've cloned the issue over as [TEIIDDES-2988] TextTable SELECTOR toString is incorrect - JBoss Issue Tracker
