Difference between Datagrid Server and JBoss EAP ?

Hello

I am new to RedHat solutions. Trying to get the best of it.

I try to deploy the quick start examples of Datagrid.

Something is strange for me :
for HelloWorld quick start, we are asked to download the JDS, however,
we have no use of it as the HelloWorld WAR is deployed in EAP.

What is the use of JDS so ?

I tried as well to deploy the HelloWorld in the JDS instead of the EAP server, but this does not work.

Any idea ?

well, after playing the different quickstarts, I understand now that EAP is a Web server
where you can run "library mode" cached application,
while the DG Server contains just the cache !
