Can we use the OOpath in drl condition for DOM?.

I want to evaluate an Xpath in drools condition for this i just parse my xml by using DOM parser and insert the DOM object.I create some Xpath and insert that object too . now i can able to access that DOM and Xpath object but not able to evaluate the Xpath expression.

Hi, could you provide the OOPath which you describe as problematic, and a reproducer for the error/problem you are describing, please?

I think that drools is not designed to use a dynamic fact object model, parsed at runtime with a DOM library.

I suspect that this approach even if it could work, it would lead to serious performance problem.

My comment is just a warning: let us know your findings about that.
