Teiid Instance tab missing in Developer Studio

Hi guys,

Please take a look at the screenshot below - the Teiid Instance tab is missing in my JBoss Developer Studio. Do you have nay idea how can I fix this...?

1) What version of JBDS and Teiid Designer are you running?

2) if you haven't already, you could try closing the server editor page and re-open it from the Servers view

1) JDBS version is 9.1.0 GA and the Teiid version is 8.7.1 (it's visible on the screenshot)

2) Already tried this - even re-installed the JDBS......the same situation..

What version of Teiid Designer is installed into JBDS?  (see Help >> About....)

The Teiid Designer features are not listed in this Installed Software page.. for whatever reason.  There may have been issues installing it. I don't know how you got the Designer's eclipse perspective to show up.. I don't know.

I'd suggest installing again using the instructions here: Download & Install - JBoss Community . When you are finished installing, then re-check the Installed Software page to verify the features are there.

Thanks for the link, Barry. It helped me a lot. After un-installation of the Studio and installation of earlier version (8.1.0) , now everything is OK.

Finally I realized what is causing the issue:

I have installed JBoss Developer Studio on my local PC and using "Software/Update" tab I managed to install Teiid Designer.

But after that I needed to install the same software on a virtual machine that does not have access (external) to Internet - so I managed to install the Studio, but without Internet connection I cannot download the Teiid. That's why I copied the "plugins" folder from my PC to the virtual machine, but forgot to copy/paste and the "features" folder. That was the problem - now I perform the same steps, but this time copy/paste the "features" folder and everything works perfect ....!
