Jboss old version of code displayed in browser

Hi,

We have JBOSS 4.0.5.GA as application server front-ended by Apache web server, both running on same Linux box.

Issue we have now is, even though we deploy new version of code, browser still displays the old version of code. We have checked the .war file in server and it has the latest .JSP file. But, when accessed via browser, the old JSP file displays.

We have tried to restart JBOSS, delete the JSP file in question in other locations outside the .war file to no luck. It would be much appreciated if someone can guide me on how to proceed further on this issue.

JBoss AS 4.x is way too old, so I don't exactly remember where the configs used to go. But there is a config in JBoss AS 4.x where you can configure it to cleanup the "work dir" (the folder which is used to place runtime compiled JSPs) on each restart. You can configure that and/or delete the work dir (which I think resides under the data folder) before restarting your server.

Try the suggestion provided by jaikiranand also try cleaning the browser cache.
