jwkaltz Dec 7, 2001 9:16 AM (in response to sunhongfeng)There was some discussion about this a while ago. The problem occurs sometimes under Windows 2000 when you stop, and then restart the server.
It goes away when you leave your Windows alone for half an hour ;) (or if you reboot your machine)
I think it has something to do with the flawed socket handling by Windows, but am not sure and I don't know whether there will be a work-around for this in the upcoming JBoss release. -

janheise Dec 13, 2001 1:22 PM (in response to sunhongfeng)i never encountered this kind of problem on other platforms than windows. a windows console stops scrolling when you select text via the mouse. this can happen without noticing just by clicking into the window. scroll-lock also pauses the program. just hit space or any other key and jboss should resume working.

sangyunhua Dec 13, 2001 8:14 PM (in response to sunhongfeng)I had the same problem a few weeks ago and i was installing lotus notes at that time ,the notes server console window hangs unless you press the enter.
the notes service site said this is a win2k bug and the mothed to solve the problem is
Edit the console window property and uncheck the "quick edit mode" and "insert mode"
try it.
