    Solved :Unable to start standalone.bat error message is The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

      I got a new laptop running Windows 10 and after installing Wildfly 10.1.0.Final and trying to run the standalone.bat I get the following message.

       

      The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

       

      I have also tried running as an administrator and get the same issue.

       

      I have set my JAVA_HOME and JBOSS_HOME and verified they are set correctly.

       

      Edit:

      I went into Hipchat and asked there and they suggested I try standalone.ps1 and that worked without issues so I'm going to use that now.
