Apache ActiveMQ Artemis is shipped in JBoss EAP 7.0 as the default JMS provider.
Red Hat JBoss A-MQ is a separate product from JBoss EAP. It is a dedicated message broker which supports additional protocols. It is not an application server like JBoss EAP.

Yes, Apache ActiveMQ Artemis in EAP 7 replaces HornetQ in EAP 6.
The HornetQ code-base was donated to the Apache ActiveMQ project a couple of years ago and has become the Apache ActiveMQ Artemis broker. Therefore, if you were familiar with HornetQ you'll find Artemis is extremely similar.
