I am currently managing an old JBoss-AS 7.1.1 installation with some web applications deployed on it. I am having some issues since a couple of days: it seems that the http virtual server (on port 8080) shuts down for apparently no reason. Checking the server.log files I see no errors. Also, some background jobs (which do not require an http connection), still keep running together with some other services (e.g., the admin console, which runs on a different service/port than the vs).
Could it be that it reaches its connections number limit? If that is the problem, is there a way to increase the maximum connections number or to prevent the http virtual server shutdown?
I add for completeness some server details:
Thank you for your time.
