Hi,
I have some questions about local vs. remote interfaces:
Is it necessary to implement local interfaces if the EJB beans are located in the same VM in order to achieve better performance? If it is not, whats all the fuzz about local interfaces when JBoss container is handlig this by itself? I have read several places the one should use local interfaces when EJB beans are talking to eachother in the same Java VM. I am using JBoss 2.4.3. at the moment.
Thanks,
Espen
The way I understand it, JBoss will optimize out the RMI invocations if the interfaces and the beans reside in the save VM, which means you don't have to do a thing.
