Git Repository is not accessible in Drools workbench 6.3

Hi,

I have a GIT Repository https://stash.name.com/stash/rulesrepo.git

I tried to clone this repository in workbench 6.3 When I tried this, I'm getting an error "java.lang.RuntimeException. Unable to clone GIT repository. Cannot Open GIT upload pack."

I have tried changing it to ssh from https ==> ssh://stash.name.com/stash/rulesrepo.git but this couldn't solve my problem. I'm getting an error "connection refused " even after providing proper crendentials.

Actually the GIT server in a LINUX machine which is accessed my multiple people. Is this could be the problem with ssh. Please help me on this.

I am in a similar situation. Were you able to Clone a remote repository from workbench? I am seeing issues(auth fail error message) when i try to clone my remote repository. Your response is much appreciated.

Am trying to setup Drools Workbench and am facing the same issue (auth fail error). Found this post but don't see any solution here. Could you please let me know if you were able to get pass the auth fail error? Were you able to connect to remote git repository from local drools workbench?

What I suggest is to avoid relying on BC import capability:

• use your preferred git client / cmd line to clone the repo
• add a remote to bc central (e,g, ssh://bcuser@yourbchost/yourprj)
• push to bc
