rvansa Jun 2, 2017 3:08 PM (in response to sea_shankar)It's not possible through the RemoteCacheManager, but you could list the caches through JMX. Infinispan recently got some administraction options so you could request listing cache names there, too. However we prefer to limit the administration options.
Why do you need to list the caches at all?

sea_shankar Jun 2, 2017 3:20 PM (in response to rvansa)Had a use case where I have a key spread out in 3 different caches. I wanted to get a list of 3 caches without listing them explicitly and retrieve the information for the key in the 3 different caches.

rvansa Jun 2, 2017 5:15 PM (in response to sea_shankar)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThat sounds like this set should be listed somewhere in your application anyway; you don't want to break the code/issue unneeded requests once you add a feature that uses another cache.
