We are using JBOSS 5.3.1.GA_SOA and JMS for message communication.
During the times of heavy load, messages are stuck in the queue and are processed very very slowly.
We have to restart the application in order for them to start processing fast again.
And even then stopping server also doesnt work sometimes and the java process has to be killed.
I have monitored the memory, heap dumb during the issue times , all were usual.
Our application basically takes this xml messages from the queues and processed those messages based on some business logic,
ultimately inserting data in database.
This happens in production and during heavy loads only.
Any suggestions/solutions are highly appreciated.
