    Logs in Wildfly

    jgaudard

We are running Wildfly 9 and we are having production servers lock up to the point where we cannot even get the Wilfly page to load.  We have the server.log and we also do a stacktrace to try and capture what process is causing the system to completely become non-responsive.  These logs are not really giving any direction on where the problem resides.

Are there there other logs or information I can capture to provide our programmers that may be helpful?

I appreciate any guidance and information.

Have you tried taking a thread dump? That should give some indication on where it's hung.

I just had an incident and I opened up jvisualm.exe and captured the thread dump.  Since I am a server guy, I really don't know what I am looking at or should be looking for in the thread dump.  I sent it over to the programming staff.  Thanks for the reply.
