1. Re: local interface & "not bound"
toddering Feb 13, 2002 5:03 PM (in response to nikolaj)I am having a similar problem. How does jBoss know whether or not I am requesting the local interface or the remote interface on my InitialContext.lookup call? Is there some naming convention to follow or something?
Thanks,

2. Re: local interface & "not bound"
armint Feb 14, 2002 12:36 PM (in response to nikolaj)It seems like you are trying to get the local home from outside the vm. Is this correct? If so, you cannot use local home and local interface outside the container vm. Also, the ejb-local-ref tag is used for that component's jndi environment and is not visible outside the component.

3. Re: local interface & "not bound"
wolfc Feb 14, 2002 2:02 PM (in response to nikolaj)You're doing a lookup in global JNDI space.
Try: ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/local/MessageBean");
instead.
(java:comp/env is the local space for that bean.) -
