Need help using Shrinkwrap Resolver to get Pom metadata

Hello,

If I use the following code:

private val springBootStarterWeb = "org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-web:1.5.1.RELEASE"

Maven.configureResolver().resolve(springBootStarterWeb).withoutTransitivity().asSingleFile()

I get a jar file.  I am looking to be able to get the Pom for this dependency and eventually all of the Pom files for all of the transitive dependencies as well.  I can't seem to figure out how to specify that I am interested in the Pom file, not the Jar file.  If you have a moment, can you point me in the right direction?

Looks like michael-schnell came up with his own work around  by having the resolver resolve a resource and backing in the URL for the Pom.  He references a bug that was open in 12/2014 (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SHRINKRES-214).  You can see his workaround in his "utils4maven" project here: utils4maven/MavenPomReader.java at master · fuinorg/utils4maven · GitHub

I'm still thinking that there must be an easier way to do this.  Please consider sharing if you have already been down this road.

It's really just a workaround.

Unfortunately there is still no progress ([SHRINKRES-214] NoResolvedResultException when trying to resolve a POM - JBoss Issue Tracker )...
