But they are talking about distrubuted transaction between nodes. Maybe it can helps for get some ideas. I have this need as well in future. Let me know if you have a solution :-D.

UserTransaction ut = EJBClient.getUserTransaction("node1");
Added system property jboss.node.name=node1

UserTransaction ut = RemoteTransactionContext.getInstance().getUserTransaction();

Here you can take it from maven:
