Smooks Editor Not available with JBOSS Tools

Hi There,

I am using latest version of  Eclipse Oxygen 4.7.3a & Installed JBoss Tools 4.5.3 Final, But I can not find Smooks Tools: The editor for Smooks configuration files. After adding all plugins of JBoss tools,

Can any please, help me on this? How can I get smooks editor/smooks configuration plugins?

Smooks plugin no longer in JBossTools (Eclipse Kepler)

Smooks plugin has been removed for many many years. However, since I noticed someone else had the same question a few years ago, I decided to just fork the old code and get it to build for Eclipse Photon.

I have NOT TESTED IT. All I did was get it to build. My git repo also didn't maintain the history of the svn... I just shoved the old code in. I can promise you I only changed pom.xml files, but I'm not sure if that'll make you feel better.

If you don't trust the pre-built update site, you can try to build it yourself. It should be a simple mvn clean install in the root folder.

Hey Rob,

Smooks editor plugin is working fine for xml to xml, But for JSON to JSON not working, I am selecting input type as JSON, then selecting Input data as JSON file, I am not able to do it after clicking on "Add" it is not allowing us for adding json file.

can you help me in this/ do you have any input?
