Hi folks,

I have a question re configuring the Transaction Coordinator on JBoss EAP 7.1 - specifically setting an “AlternativeRecordOrdering on the CoordinatorEnvironment bean” for resources enlisted in an XA transaction. The behavior we require, for example, is that the xa datasource would commit before any jms xa resource (activemq adatper) when both are enlisted in a xa 2PC transaction. I found a similar discussion here which may provide better context. Does anyone know if the desired behavior is possible ? Pointers to an example or documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark,

That facility is not intended for ordering different XAResources within a transaction, instead it allows ordering of different AbstractRecord types:

The requirement you have has been discussed before and there is a good resource on our blog:
