How to remove the dot(.) and the after part of JsessionId value?

e.g.  JsessonId value like : UpgjB8jdlzEeCi5RLAMBwSJtSEBg2Pdgh_WgI8Qp.win-fduq94uj0ac

I want to remove '.win-fduq94uj0ac'  this part, how to remove it from the configuration file 'standalone.xml' ?

or some other configuration file,  this suffix will not be generated

The value after that dot character is the jboss.node.name system property value. If not set (when starting the server), then it defaults to the host name of the server. Do you want to remove that string from the cookie to avoid exposing the host name of the server? If so, you can just start the server by passing it a custom value of your choice for the jboss.node.name system property. An example is as follows:

./standalone.sh -Djboss.node.name=host1

I don't know if there's a way to completely get rid of the node name being suffixed in the cookie value.

To clarify, currently WildFly always appends the node name (which defaults to the host name) to the session id to support sticky session routing.  The ability to disable this (as well as customize the behavior) will arrive with this pull request: WFLY-5550 Distributable Web subsystem by pferraro · Pull Request #11476 · wildfly/wildfly · GitHub
