EJB & JBoss 2.4.4: Connection Refused

Hi

I am having problems with JBoss 2.4.4 (on Win2K) when I am trying to stress test an EJB application I have developed. The server refuses JNDI connections when there are >15 client connection requests from the same IP. If I try 15 from 2 servers at the same time (i.e. 30 connections) that is OK.

but I am struggling to make sense of them and find a solution.

Can anyone explain to me what the actual problem here is and if there is a proven solution.

If I understand the two threads you refer to correctly, the problem is definitely with the way Windows handles sockets.

In addition to the solutions discussed in those two threads, you could have a look at http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ is a long shot, but probably worth trying.

Unfortunately, no good. I changed the settings as suggested but I still get the problem.

A switch to Linux might be on the cards...
