1. Re: nothing happens when .ear file is deployed
mikew Apr 8, 2002 12:30 PM (in response to mikew)Hey Feuxeu77,
Thanks for sticking with me on this!
I still can't figure out why I (we) are getting the error message: External entity not found: "http://java.sun.com/dtd/application_1_3.dtd".
however, looking at that DTD I did spot (I think) errors with my application.xml file, in that the <web-uri> and <context-root> (which I had incorrectly named "context") elements should in fact be within the scope of the element.
Unfortunately, the other error still persists!

3. Re: nothing happens when .ear file is deployed
feuxeu77 Apr 9, 2002 8:09 AM (in response to mikew)Oh, I missed the line concerning the HTTP 500 :)
I haven't put the DOCTYPE tag for application.xml in my development. I think you can remove it.
I'm using JBoss 3.0Beta and the DOCTYPE doesn't seem to be needed. -

feuxeu77 Apr 9, 2002 8:13 AM (in response to mikew)I have tried with the DOCTYPE you gave in your first message and it works fine with JBoss 3.0Beta. What is your JBoss's Version
