Thanks for your 'quick' answer, Thomas.
I think this features have to be developped.
The integration process should be shorten whith a tool like that.
I have been working on other portal solutions like I_M WP, which can import/export all the configuration with a command line tools 'XmlAcces'.
I think I will have to look to CVS, to develop it.
Thanks to all et Merci Thomas.
Are their any news about this subject?
Manualy creating xml configurations looks very error prown and we need it to decide if we are going to work with jboss portal
I am intrested about this topic too. I am using jboss portal in corporation and now writing avery descriptors *.object manual are very slow. Second important thing which I looking for is tool for debbuging portlets.
Soon we will better handle the mis-written configuration files, so you will always write correct xml files.
Again if someone want to start working on scripts like this that would be great since it's not a priority for us at the moment and days are only 24 hours long :)
k3nnymusic, If you have many objects to create it means that you have some structure somehow, writing an XML file can be made by any tool, i don't understand how your problem is related. You will not used the interface to create 1000s of objects anyway,
For your second concern, a portlet is a Java app, any debugger for Java app will do, there is nothing specific.
