If you are trying to do conditionally show the CONTENT of an h:column, you should conditionally render the content, not the column.
thanks norman for your help, It has solved the problem of the header.
But the new problem is i am rendering the output data conditionally.
So when the condition is true that perticular row is displayed in the table, but when the condition is not true it leaves blank spaces in its position. This creates a lot of gap between certain rows. I cannot see how to solve it. can you suggest me how to do it.
thanks in advance
If you want to hide the entire row (not just a cell) based on certain conditions I think you should do it in your java code (backing bean or so)
Thank you all for your help,
The problem is, I have one table of users having different categories of users and user's respective data.
I want to display the data like this:
User Category 1 Name , Address , Phone name1 block d 879 123456 User Category 2 Name , Address , Phone name1 block d 879 123456
How can i display data like this: can you help me on this problem,
thank you very much
Can anybody help me on this matter please.
You would be better off asking this in a JSF forum (Sun's JSF forum perhaps, or myfaces user list if you are using myfaces) as this really isn't a Seam question.
