15. Re: How to create a WSRP remote portlet on GateIn
claprun May 3, 2010 6:57 AM (in response to anil.kolhe)Ah, this is a problem with the documentation. The correct URL is:
http://{hostname}:{port}/wsrp-producer/MarkupService?wsdl
Sorry about that and thanks for letting us know.

16. Re: How to create a WSRP remote portlet on GateIn
anil.kolhe May 3, 2010 7:57 AM (in response to claprun)I was trying to consume this url in GlassFish webspace as well as liferay portal server but got following exception
StaticRSSM.getServiceDescriptionPortType(): Service descrption port not available.javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: null is not a valid
Is it because WSRP 1.0 is not standardized and interoperability cannot be guarantee on other WSRP 1.0 compliant portal server.

Please advice.

brunovernay May 7, 2010 10:31 AM (in response to anil.kolhe)Hello Anil,
Looks like you are testing WSRP with a bunch of portals. I have to do the same kind of work !
JBoss case is pretty clear. But on Liferay/Sun side WSRP supports is a bit questionable.
I see your tests going from Liferay - GateIn to GateIn - GateIn as a confirmation, am I wrong ?
Best Regards
Bruno

anil.kolhe May 10, 2010 12:52 AM (in response to brunovernay)Hi Bruno,
JBoss Gatein is good choice but they havent have the support for WSRP 2.0.
You are right that the Liferay's WSRP support if bit questionable. But WSRP works good with Web space.
Also you may evaluate Sun One portal or Pluto. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Anil
