Are you creating a new model and a VDB or you just opening the old VDB with new Designer?

I installed the JEE 3.6.1 version of Eclipse on a Windows XP, and installed nightly and did not see the behavior. I am at loss to suggest any alternatives unless I can reproduce this error.

Could anybody help me for this issue?
We have to modify the vdb.xml in VDB mannually, but the VDB cannot be deployed sucessfully. We are not sure whether it is caused by security check of VDB.

No security checks done at this level, I even tried your models in my workspace. I see the behavior with your VDB, but once I create a new VDB with same models it does not exibit that behaviour any more.

Ramesh,
I think I have found the reasons.
The Teiid project MUST be under the Eclipse workspace directory while I usually separate my project from workspace.
I move my project into the Eclipse workspace and this issue is solved.

I am glad that it is working for you and thank you for providing a workaround. Yes, I have reproduced the error. Please log a JIRA against Teiid Designer with this issue, we will try to get it fixed in Teiid Designer 7.2
