On my mind, it is possibile that jsf1.2 doesn't have some classes Richfaces4 needs.

                  isn't it ?

ps. ...remember, this the first time i use richfaces

                      Andrea,

RichFaces 4 requires JSF 2. Please take at the link I've posted previously for upgrade instructions.

                        I read that post,

And i understood i need to update the server, but i cannot di it beccasse i'm working for a corporate, that use weblogic 10.0.

So i have no possibility to' install the version 10.3, tomorrow i can try to' download that on my pc, and try to develop shared libray on wls 10.0...if it's possible... I mean, we have an enterprise web-app developed using only Extjs....i would like to study the possibility to introduce some web2 Java framework with the same 'view possibility'....

                        Thanks a lot...

                        Ciao,

JBoss AS server for example allows to define web-app JSF libraries to be used using parameter. And you could check the same for weblogic - you will be able to add JSF 2 to an application and do not care about server implementation.

                            YES !

I deleted all my tst project and i start up again.

First, i tried to use jsf 2, with the example greeting. And it work...

But when i tried to use richfaces4 libraries, server gave me this:

Unable to set the activation state to true for the application 'TestJSF'.
