I made sure all of those mentioned jar files were in all java.ext.dirs directories but that didnt fix anything.
Are there some kind of jboss settings I need to configure?
I am also following the same issue mean while. It will be very helpful if anyone solves this issue.
If I get this right you are trying to connect to another ws using ws client on jboss as through https.
First you have to set up certificates inside the code. Leave standalone.xml alone it doesn't matter when you are acting as a client.
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "PATH_TO_KEYSTORE");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "KEYSTORE_PASS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType", "JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", "PATH_TO_TRUSTSTORE");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", "TRUSTSTORE_PASS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType", "JKS");
System.setProperty("org.jboss.security.ignoreHttpsHost", "true"); // if using self-signed certs
And now you setup a ws client. If you are accessing an endpoint through https you can't get access if you don't have your certificates loaded.
