1. Re: Openstack not bootable media found
goldmann Jan 7, 2012 5:39 PM (in response to avdhoot)1 of 1 people found this helpfulIt should work, but the OpenStack plugin itself isn't very well tested. You selected EC2 platform, are you this is the one you want to use with OpenStack? Maybe you wanted KVM image?
OpenStack plugin itself is in tech-preview now, so we appreciate any news from the battlefield.
I'll look at this issue once I upgrade to the latest OpenStack in Fedora.

avdhoot Jan 8, 2012 1:03 AM (in response to goldmann)Thanks for reply.
boxgrinder-build centos.appl -d openstack.
Kvm image worked.
But openstack also support AMI image. So thought EC2 image will work.

3. Re: Openstack not bootable media found
goldmann Jan 8, 2012 4:40 AM (in response to avdhoot)I'm an OpenStack noob - I need to check with OpenStack guys what's needed to run an image in EC2 or VMware format. Not sure if OpenStack itself can convert the image or it just needs an EC2/VMware account to be able to start an instance from provided image. I'm pretty sure it's the latter.
