    maven build dependency issue

    Kurt Stam Master

      I'm using:

      central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2), and

      jboss-public-repository-group (http://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/)

      1. Am I supposed to add another repo?

      2. Or is the groupname supposed to be ws-commons?

For details see the maven error below:

      Missing:

      ----------

      1) wscommons-policy:policy:jar:1.0

Try downloading the file manually from the project website.

Then, install it using the command:

            mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=wscommons-policy -DartifactId=policy -Dversion=1.0 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file

Alternatively, if you host your own repository you can deploy the file there:

            mvn deploy:deploy-file -DgroupId=wscommons-policy -DartifactId=policy -Dversion=1.0 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file -Durl=[url] -DrepositoryId=[id]

        Path to dependency:

            1) org.jboss.soa.bpel.runtime:riftsaw-engine:jar:2.4.0-SNAPSHOT

            2) org.jboss.ws.native:jbossws-native-core:jar:3.2.2.GA

            3) wscommons-policy:policy:jar:1.0

      ----------

      1 required artifact is missing.

      for artifact:

        org.jboss.soa.bpel.runtime:riftsaw-engine:jar:2.4.0-SNAPSHOT

      from the specified remote repositories:

        central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2),

        jboss-public-repository-group (http://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/)
