"Object is already closed" error when reading CLOB from H2 in Teiid

Hi,

I am getting "The object is already closed [90007-168]" exception when attempt to read table with CLOB column in Teiid.

For more details see attached the sample unit test case (Embedded Teiid) and a complete exception dump.

Can you tell me please is it some configuration setting I forgot, or it is a Teiid 8.1 limitation?

My problem is probably much simpler and not related to this thread, so I opened a new discussion.

Yes, the DataTierTupleSource type detection is checking the lob type incorrectly and so the source statement is not being held open as expected. Can you log something for this? The workaround if your lobs are small is configure the translator with copyLobs=true.

Thanks Steven, I'll try workaround, we should be fine with it for now. I also opened TEIID-2496 for the real fix.

This will be resolved in 8.4 Beta 2.
